6.5.7 ADVANCED SETUP

The DVR’s passwords and different access levels can be configured from the Advanced

Menu, as well as saving and retrieving the DVR menu settings.

6.5.7.1 Password Check

Select password check option on or off. When

enabled, it will prompt for password on the

following functions unless disabled individually

under user settings:

z REC button

z Search & Play buttons

z Copy button

z Live Audio selection

z Main Menu button

z Status button

z PTZ control button

z Power off switch

The password is in effect for one minute after it’s been entered to gain access to any

of the functions. For example, once the password is entered to gain the main menu

screen, it will not have to be re-entered to gain access to any other screens that

require passwords.

6.5.7.2 Set Password

Highlight SET PASSWORD and then press the

ENTER button to access the password submenu.

Select a desired user to modify the password, and

then press the ENTER button. The default

passwords are as follows:

Admin: 11111111

User 1: 22222222

User 2: 33333333

User 3: 44444444

User 4: 55555555
